Fire Erupts at Chemical Paint Factory in Tekirdag, Türkiye

A fire broke out at the Goldfix factory, a chemical paint production facility, located in the Bahçeağıl neighborhood of Tekirdağ’s Kapaklı district in Türkiye.

Thick smoke and flames quickly filled the air, causing widespread concern among local residents.

Firefighters from multiple units arrived promptly and managed to contain the blaze.

The fire severely damaged a large portion of the factory, with about 15 fire trucks dispatched to prevent it from spreading to surrounding areas.

The cause of the fire remains unclear, and no official information on casualties or injuries has been released at this time.

As the fire subsided, local residents provided buttermilk to the firefighters to help alleviate the effects of the smoke they had been exposed to.

Gendarmerie and police forces also responded, enforcing strict security measures in the vicinity.

Once the fire was mostly under control, the fire teams initiated cooling operations.

Authorities have stated that further information, including the fire’s cause, will be disclosed as soon as it becomes available.
