Explosion at Turkish Pasta Factory Results in One Fatality and 33 Injuries

A powerful explosion hit a pasta factory in the northwestern province of Sakarya, Türkiye, on September 15, leaving one worker dead and 33 others injured. The incident took place at the facility in the Hendek district, drawing an immediate response from emergency teams.

Firefighters worked diligently to extinguish the blaze that broke out after the explosion and rescued several individuals trapped under the debris. Three of the firefighters involved in the rescue suffered minor injuries during the operation.

The exact cause of the explosion is still unclear, and authorities have initiated a detailed investigation to uncover the circumstances surrounding the incident.
