Fire Contained at Kuwait’s Al Zour Refinery, Operations Uninterrupted
A minor fire occurred in a storage section of Kuwait’s Al Zour refinery, but it did not disrupt production, according to a statement from the state-owned Kuwait Integrated Petroleum Industries Company (KIPIC) on Saturday.
The incident resulted in no injuries, and firefighters were actively working to manage the situation, KIPIC reported on X.
KIPIC’s official spokesperson, Ali Al Ajmi, stated, “The limited fire that broke out in one of the storage areas inside the Al Zour Refinery has been completely controlled.”
He further assured, “There were no injuries or threats to life. Refinery operations, including production and export, continued safely without any impact from the fire.”
