Incident at Tunisian Gas Depot Results in 35 Injuries

The event transpired following a fire outbreak around 06:20 at the premises. Reports from Tunisian media outlets suggest that the fire ignited due to a gas leakage during the process of refilling gas cylinders. Both AGIL personnel and local firefighting services promptly responded to the scene, successfully containing the fire before it could spread beyond the immediate area.

Numerous AGIL staff members suffered injuries from the fire and ensuing explosion, requiring urgent hospitalization. Additionally, 25 others sustained injuries while assisting in firefighting efforts.

Government authorities have announced the initiation of an immediate investigation into the incident, ensuring that all the injured individuals receive optimal medical care.
