Major Fire Breaks Out at Chemical Warehouse in Thane’s Bhiwandi

Last Thursday, a significant fire broke out at a chemical warehouse located on Mankoli Road in Bhiwandi, Thane, producing large clouds of dense smoke. Anjur Phata Station Incharge, Shailesh Shinde, reported that the fire brigade was alerted to the blaze at 5:10pm, following an emergency call about the incident at Pritesh Complex in Dapoda village.

“The fire started at a chemical warehouse, and the situation is further complicated by the continuous explosions of chemical drums,” Shinde explained. “Our efforts to control the fire are ongoing, but we are facing difficulties due to the severity of the blaze and a lack of water.”

Fortunately, there have been no reports of casualties or injuries at this time.
